Visiting Salon Nouveau After COVID
We’ve finally been given the green light to re-open after COVID! However, we’ve had to put a number of new policies and procedures in place to comply with regulations AND keep everyone safe. Here’s what visiting Salon Nouveau after COVID will look like.
Booking Appointments
We’ve contacted clients that had appointments scheduled and/or canceled prior to us having to close. If you don’t have an appointment yet and you’d like one, please call us to book.
When you call to book your appointment, we’ll be asking if you are sick or if you’ve recently been tested for COVID. If the answer is yes, to either of those questions, you will not be able to schedule an appointment until you have been symptom free for at least 14 days or until you receive negative test results.
We’ll be moving to online booking soon!
Before Your Appointment
Clients coming in for a haircut must come in with dry clean hair in order to be serviced. This will limit the amount of time in the salon.
Please note, at this time there will be no blow drying. This is being done to limit the amount of airborne exposure to germs.
Arriving To Your Appointment
When you arrive for your appointment, please remain in your car but call to let your Stylist know you’ve arrived. We have temporarily closed our waiting area so when your Stylist is ready, we’ll call you to come in.
Clients will be required to come alone.
Children coming in for services will be allowed one adult to accompany them at the time of the appointment.
Upon entry we will be taking temperatures and providing hand sanitizer. If you have a temperature of 100 or above, you will have to reschedule your appointment.
We will be requiring all clients to wear a mask for the duration of their time at the salon. If you do not have one, you can purchase one for the cost of $5.00. We strongly encourage you to have one prior to arriving for your appointment
No outside gloves will be permitted. If you feel more comfortable wearing gloves, the salon will provide a clean pair that can be worn while services are being performed.
No outside food or drinks will be allowed and none will be offered in the salon.
What We’re Doing
We’ll be following all the cleaning and sanitizing guidelines put in place by state and local agencies. We’ll also be wearing masks and other protective equipment as required. Rest assured, we’re monitoring the situation closely. Your health as well as the health of our team is of the upmost importance to us. If the situation changes and we need to adjust our policies and procedures, we will. Or even better, if we can discontinue some of the measures currently required of us, we’ll do that, only when it’s deemed safe.
We are trying to get a certificate for massages for our grandmother and 2 of her friends but I want to be sure of a couple things first.
Are you still booking massages? Do you have multiple massage artists so the three of them would be able to book at the same time? And same goes for manis and pedis?
Thank you!!
Hi Jessica,
